Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan is one of India's largest educational networks, founded in 1952 and formalized in 1977 with its headquarters in Lucknow and a functional office in Delhi. It operates under the ideological umbrella of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and is dedicated to providing education rooted in Indian culture, values, and traditions.

The first Saraswati Shishu Mandir, was established in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, in 1952. State-level Shishu Shiksha Prabandak Samiti committees were formed to coordinate school activities in 1958. 

Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan was established to coordinate activities between state committees (1977-78).

Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad was established on 10 July 1956.The school is co-educational  institution that offers grades 1 to 5. Durgawati Hemraj Tah Saraswati Vidya Mandir is the extension of Saraswati Shishu Mandir that offers grades 6 to 12 and was established in 1993.

 

 Mr. Dev Pal Taha Ji, Science teacher (USA) established a school in memory of his beloved mother, Durgawati Ji, and his esteemed father, Hemraj Ji. In their honour, the school was named Durgawati Hemraj Tah Saraswati Vidya Mandir, located in Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad.

Since then, the school has progressed by leaps and bounds. Today, it boasts 35 classrooms and provides education to around 1,500 students from grade 6 to 12 across the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. The campus is well-equipped with two music rooms, two spacious multipurpose halls, and modern laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Languages, and Multi-Skill Vocational lab. The school also features a large playground, supporting a variety of sports and outdoor activities.
